Supportive conversation, not therapy.
ImBright offers educational support, practical tools, and supportive conversation. Our services are designed to help people reflect on what they are experiencing, explore possibilities, and identify practical next steps.
Know what this service is—and what it is not.
ImBright coaching conversations are intended to help you feel heard, better understand what may be happening, explore your priorities, and identify practical next steps. ImBright coaching is not therapy, medical care, mental health treatment, or emergency assistance.

Educational support
ImBright coaches provide supportive conversation, general emotional wellness education, practical tools, and resource suggestions.
ImBright coaching does not provide:
- Diagnosis of mental health or medical conditions
- Psychotherapy or psychological treatment
- Medical treatment
- Medication or prescribing services
- Clinical assessment
- Legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice
Participation in ImBright coaching does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, psychologist-client, or other licensed healthcare-provider relationship.
Coaching is not psychotherapy
Coaching and psychotherapy can sometimes involve conversations about emotions, challenges, goals, or life circumstances, but they serve different purposes.
ImBright coaching focuses on education, reflection, practical skills, personal priorities, and possible next steps.
It is not intended to assess, diagnose, or treat mental illness or other health conditions.
If your needs are better suited to therapy, medical care, or another professional service, you should seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.
When to seek professional care
Some concerns require care beyond the scope of ImBright coaching.
If you need assessment, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, medication management, or ongoing mental health care, contact an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental health professional.
You are always free to seek professional care before, during, or after using ImBright resources or coaching.
Using ImBright does not replace professional care when professional care is appropriate.
Emergency and crisis situations
ImBright is not an emergency or crisis-response service.
Coaches and website communications may not be available immediately and should not be relied upon for urgent assistance.
If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical or mental health assistance, contact appropriate emergency or crisis services in your area.
Do not use ImBright website forms, email, or coaching requests as a substitute for emergency assistance.
What to expect from a coaching conversation
An ImBright coaching conversation is voluntary and intended to be supportive and pressure-free.
You can share only what you are comfortable sharing.
You may:
- Decline to discuss a particular subject
- Ask questions
- Request clarification
- Ask for a different kind of resource
- End a conversation at any time
The coach may also explain when a concern appears to fall outside the scope of ImBright coaching and suggest that you consider an appropriate professional or community resource.
Your choices remain your own
Coaching may help you consider possibilities, identify priorities, or think through potential next steps.
Any decisions you make remain your own.
ImBright coaches do not make personal, medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions for you, and participation in coaching does not guarantee a particular result.
You are responsible for deciding whether a suggestion, exercise, resource, or next step is appropriate for your circumstances.
No guaranteed outcome
Everyone's circumstances and experiences are different.
ImBright does not guarantee that coaching, educational resources, exercises, or other services will produce a particular emotional, personal, professional, or other outcome.
Our goal is to provide useful educational support and practical tools—not to promise a specific result.
Privacy and confidentiality
ImBright respects the privacy of people who request coaching or support.
Information you submit through the website is handled according to the ImBright Privacy Policy.
However, ImBright coaching should not be understood as creating the same legally protected confidentiality relationship that may exist with certain licensed healthcare or legal professionals.
Please use care when deciding what personal information you choose to share.

Some ImBright services may be provided through online forms, email, video calls, or other electronic communication.

They are not individualized medical or mental health advice and should not be interpreted as a diagnosis or treatment recommendation.
